A ramp-up in BRUSSELS

At the start of the year, we stepped straight into the heart of the European deep tech landscape. In Brussels, we held an intensive series of meetings with representatives of CHIPS JU and the European Network of Chips Competence Centres (ENCCC). While several centres have been active since early 2025, CROCCS officially launched its operations in January 2026.

These meetings gave us the opportunity to exchange experiences, explore strategic focus areas and open the door to stronger collaboration across Europe. Our mission is clear: to provide Croatian companies and start-ups with accessible and affordable local and EU expert support and cutting-edge infrastructure to accelerate customized chip and semiconductors design from lab to fab.

All of this aligns with the broader European fabless strategy, which is creating new opportunities for domestic innovation and enabling Croatian companies to enter the value chain of the European semiconductor industry.
